We Kindly Invite You to the Puppet Nativity Scene

Dear friends! Ukrainians have a long-standing tradition of decorating their homes for Christmas. Back then, people made Didukh, cooked ‘kutia’, and carolers went from house to house with a travelling nativity scene – an original puppet theatre.

Therefore, we invite children and adults to attend the Puppet Nativity Scene and workshops on Sunday, 18 December 2022, at 12.00.

The performance is free, but workshops are charged.

PROGRAMME

12.00 – nativity scene and carols for children and adults with the master and teacher Liudmyla Yermakova.

“The Virgin Mary carried a child under her heart. It was at that time that she had to go to Jerusalem with Joseph. And the night came when the child was due to be delivered…” – this is how our nativity scene begins.

Who will be there to help them at that time? And what will happen next?

If you are interested in the story of Christmas, join us. And we will perform it together. We will also learn and sing old Christmas carols that you have never heard before.

All ages are welcome.

Time: Sunday, 18 December, at noon.

1 pm – three workshops to attend:
