Iryna Bilan is the Head of the Fundraising Department at the Mystetskyi Arsenal National Art and Culture Museum Complex. Iryna Bilan shared the secrets of attracting additional funds for cultural projects. In particular, she advises: "In a grant project, you need to clearly define the idea (what exactly do you want to do?), the beneficiaries (who benefits from the project, do they actually need it, how will we involve them in the project), the goals and objectives of the project, the team and partners (what are the roles and responsibilities, the internal team and external experts), the stages of project implementation, communication (promotion) of the project, expected results and expected risks.

During the training course Economy Grows Through Culture, the Director of the "Around Us. UA" NGO, Candidate of Historical Sciences, Oksana Humeniuk, introduced the activities of the NGO to the guests of the event. She mentioned the project "Life of Ukrainians. Folk Calendar of Bohuslavshchyna". Together with Olena Chebaniuk, a folklore researcher and PhD in philology, she made a presentation of the nonfiction publication Folk Calendar of Bohuslavshchyna. She also demonstrated folk costumes and adornments recreated from old photographs and museum exhibits. A pleasant surprise was a concert by bandura player Danylo Nosko.

Joint Elaboration of Cultural Resources Map – Workshop – Economy Grows Through Culture

On the second day of the Economy Grows Through Culture training course, the participants worked together to develop cultural resource maps. They worked on individual (joint) projects, and later presented and discussed them. Every year, the Polish town of Krasnogruda, located near the border with Lithuania, hosts the Bridge Mystery, where residents and young people take part in performances based on stories about their small homeland: "The generation that contributed to our record of the history of the region, has already passed away. Now it is our responsibility to them: to preserve and to pass this history on to the next generations," says Weronika Czyzewska.

The Revitalisation of Immovable Objects of Cultural Heritage – a report by Alisa Svyatyna

Alisa Svyatyna is the director of the Restoration and Technology Centre LLC, a certified restoration technologist. "During the period from 24 February 2022 to 25 June 2023, 664 objects of cultural heritage of Ukraine were damaged or destroyed. Among them are 211 architectural monuments, 186 architectural and urban planning monuments, 179 historical monuments, 18 monumental art monuments, 17 urban planning and monumental art monuments, and 16 archaeological monuments. By destroying our cultural heritage, Russians are destroying the evidence of our belonging to a certain nation," Alisa Svyatyna opened her lecture with these facts.

Valentyna Demian is the Head of the Expert Council on Intangible Cultural Heritage at the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine, a researcher on intangible cultural heritage. "We need to use any tool to draw attention to Ukraine, especially during the war. If we do not talk about our intangible heritage, we will lose a great deal of tools in this war. The primary role in preserving intangible heritage is played by its bearers, the community, whose opinion researchers have no right to neglect," emphasised Valentyna Demian.

He directed two large-scale productions that were included in the programme of the London 2012 Olympic Games.
