Dear friends, we invite you all to the School of Carols!
“School of Carols” is a series of educational events and workshops for children and adults, and is intended as part of the “Portal through the Centuries: Bohuslav Carols” project.
The first event of the School of Carols will be the Christmas gatherings on Saturday, 10 December 2022.
Christmas Get-Togethers
What is it all about?
It is about the traditions and celebration of winter festivities in the region of Bohuslavshchyna. What they wore, what they served, how they sang… What carols meant to our ancestors in different periods.
Who should attend?
Everyone interested in the history of their ancestors and their country, and enjoying cultural leisure and a welcoming atmosphere.
What is the programme?
We will listen, talk, taste, and try to learn a carol that has been performed since ancient times in Bohuslavshchyna.
When?
On 10 December at 1 p.m. in the event hall of the Camelot cafe (40 Mykolaivska St., Bohuslav city).

This is necessary to make sure we have the number of seats and goodies for everyone at the event.
Admission is free.
PROGRAMME
1.00-2.00 pm – the participants of the expeditions will share their stories. We will watch, listen, and discuss.
2.00-2.30 pm – tasting of pies made according to old recipes. We will taste and share the secrets of cooking.
2.30-3.00 p.m. – A workshop on carols from the famous Rozkopanchanka choir: we will listen and sing.
