Dear friends, we are showing our cards: we are pleased to invite you to a massive historical and educational charity event “Portal through the Centuries: Ukrainian Army” on May 6th in Bohuslav!
An incredible eventful program that will impress the guests:
- “Military History Alive” features camps of historical reconstructors, recreations of military equipment, weapons, and the life of soldiers of the Rus’ era, the Cossacks, the Ukrainian People’s Army, and the Ukrainian Insurgent Army.
- The sites of modern military units, Ivan Bohun Kyiv Military Lyceum.
- Historical lectionary. An educational meadow with lectures by historians and researchers of the military history of the Ukrainian army.
- Banner exhibition about the history of the Ukrainian warriors.
- Exhibition of replicas of military formations’ flags of different times from the collection of the National Museum of History of Ukraine.
- Charity concert of patriotic Ukrainian songs.
- Kids’ lawn, where the youngest guests will enjoy games, entertainment, quests, an adventure track and a variety of educational and entertainment programmes.
- Craftsmen’s fair and fascinating workshops.
- Food court of traditional and military cuisine, where an interactive cooking workshop on traditional military dishes will be held. Here you will have an opportunity to cook Cossack kulish following an ancient Medvyn recipe.
- Sites of the Museum of the History of Bohuslav Region, Myronivka Local History Museum, and the educational initiative “Medvyn. Uprising” educational initiative.
- Site of reconstructors of Old-World musical instruments.
- Photo zone “Ancient Bohuslav of the Bohuslav Cossack Regiment”.
